The purpose of ICEASI is to provide an inclusive, supportive community, which promotes best practice and works to raise standards of education and training in Ayres Sensory Integration®
Educational Programs
Programs who choose to follow and adhere to the ICEASI STANDARDS FOR TRAINING PROGRAMS IN AYRES SENSORY INTEGRATION may request assessment of their program and can obtain a program certificate from ICEASI.
ASI® EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS
ICEASI STANDARDS FOR TRAINING PROGRAMS IN ASI®
ICEASI has established in common agreement among members, education standards for education in ASI® for the professions of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy and Speech and Language Therapy. The aim is to support the creation of programs leading to a Certificate in Ayres Sensory Integration® in accordance with ICEASI Education Standards.
NOVICE, PRACTITIONER, MENTOR, INSTRUCTOR
Pathway to ASI® Expertise
ICEASI has established in common agreement among members, a pathway to expertise in ASI®. Novice, Practitioner, Mentor, and Instructor levels have been established in accordance with training, experience, and supervision. The aim is to support therapists in their professional development with clear guidelines for their continuing education.
